The publisher documents stained edges, a stamped and foiled case, illustrated endpapers, a poster on the jacket’s interior, a redesigned world map and an updated introduction by Brian Herbert. These features distinguish the package, not a new sequel or a rewritten version of Herbert’s story.
The illustration wording is easy to overread. Illustrated endpapers are not a promise of illustrations throughout the novel. If you want an illustrated collector’s edition, require an explicit publisher description of that edition’s interior artwork rather than infer it from a cover photograph.
